Eiade
i love mods as well. i think they are probably what have kept me loving this game so much. otherwise it just gets old. what would morrowind be like without Rhedd's Heads or 100% projectile store chance or a cottage in seyda neen or a bunch of new races and birthsigns or particle weapons or npc replaces? haha. and oh my god! i just counted all my mods and i have 125 :whistling: . i believe that is quite excessive. only about 2/3 of them are checked though. i think a lot of mods is great as long as they dont erase any existing quests or places or cause a bunch of problems. MDRud216
Are there any side effects to having too many mods loaded at once??
thanateros
For the most part I'm a pureist and won't get any mod that drastically changes the game. The Face replace is a must, so is the atmospheric sound and the noglow mod. Mannequin mods and companion mods are fun (though the mercs are pretty stupid). I'm in the market for a mod that balances the game..it's just not a challenge anymore, even with the diff slider up to 100.
Breton Thief Oriana
Um, whats a mod? (:P) I have x-box, so im limited to no mods at all. But, I would have just a couple, like the face/body/armor mods that change the skins but keep the game balanced (IE, no super-armor).
Gwelwen
I like small mods that add some stuff to complete the world of morrowind, like, little insects or so. But I do like some quest-mods. There usually very original.I have downloaded the private tower in Balmora too, for having a place for my treasury. (And now it is too small)
Malchik
I have up to 30 available but tend not to have more than four or five active in any game. I like new factions with quests etc. I am limited in that I have to download them onto floppy disk to transfer to home where I play (no internet access). So Rhedds heads are not possible. I play two kinds of game. Test games are designed to find out 'what happens if' and are not proper games as such. For these I use mods that give me a lot of money very quickly and the Ring of the Void - effectively a permanent Mark in Balmora. Proper challenge games I limit to two mods - Master Slave Key and Master Trainer fix. I don't think either unbalances the game. Thanateros, there are several mods out there to make the game harder. They make the monsters tougher/ slow down the rate of levelling etc. It is also a challenge to set the difficulty level at 100 at the beginning and see how quickly you can take on Bloodmoon and Tribunal.
