Arizonastemilt
So I can't access my mods after i both reinstalled skyrim AND Vortex, and it's taking me up to 2-3 hours of next to no progress on the re-installation and manually approving the 75K files. how do I get rid of the mods so that I can mod it again? rmm200
Click the Purge button and manually clean up your game directory.Or as I said many other places:1) Open Vortex. Click Purge (if you have any mods there).2) Close Vortex3) Navigate to your game directory. Delete everything not Bethesda installed. Same for Data. Delete the Textures, Meshes, and Scripts folders.4) Open Steam and have it validate your game directory. It will replace anything you were over-exuberant in deleting.5) Run your game. Make sure vanilla works after all this. Stop the game.6) Run Vortex and click Deploy. That will install all your current mods. Make sure this set works in game.7) Add any new mods you want. Don't forget Deploy when done.
