Even with the 360 DevKit you would be hard-pressed to decipher all the proprietary formats that the 360 uses in its games. If someone was able to figure it out, the problem would still remain that there is no [publicly known] way to make the game access an unofficial source to make the mod function in-game. To throw yet more salt on the wound, if you read your EULA you will find that your 360 is checked at random intervals by a specialized version of Microsoft Genuine Advantage Validation Tool each time you connect to Live and also each time you update the firmware. One of the things that is checked for is DevKit activity, apparently it leaves a signature like a registry entry on a PC. If you are not authorized to have it (and I'm sure you are not) your Live account is deactivated and banned. And no, they will not refund your credit card.
