rotingCORPSE
Im REALLY new to modding so I try not to do any complicated stuff, but I've been tooling around with GECK trying to make a custom set of clothes. Problem is the Hat/s whenever I finish with them and I load the game and equip them, they appear on the side of my Character's Head. Instead of on top of his head like a normal hat. anything im doing wrong?. should I post screen shot of the problem? and im not doing anything much either just putting in some DT and Bonuses like +5 Guns or something. luthienanarion
Any time you create a new headgear object in the GECK, you have to manually add the proper facegen flag with FNVEdit to the item. The GECK does not add this flag, and without it headgear items are rotated over your left shoulder in the game. Details here.

rotingCORPSE
how do I open my mod in FNEdit? why can't I open any plugins after loading FalloutNV.esm why can't I load other plugins with the same .esm with FNEdit stating that I need to Load FalloutNV.esm first. I JUST WANT TO FIX MY HATS!!!!
llamaRCA
is so I dont know how to use it since there is no instructions manual. FNVEdit Training Manual I've found it works best in FNV when I drag FNVEdit into my data folder along with my mods. It wouldn't work when I installed it where FO3Edit worked (I kept getting errors) and someone in the FNVEdit thread recommended trying it in the Data Folder and it works great sitting in there so I've left it. I'm telling you this because I can't remember where the training manual tells you to put it and the change in where to put FNVEdit itself happened after the manual came out.
