Kracoos
Hello ! My problem must be simple, but I can't find the solution. For the sake of a quest I've made, I had to create an interior. For that, I duplicated the interior of a Riverwood house, and I put a door into the world (and the model of a house), which I linked to my duplicated interior.A stage of my quest points to an NPC in my "interior". But, the marker displays... The door to the house in Riverwood! ðžAny idea how the marker could display the door I placed in the world?Just to be clear, if I use the door I placed in the world, it looks good on the interior I duplicated, and when I leave my interior, I exit right where my door is, and not in Riverwood! Thank you! Bonus question: I have a problem talking with a character, I have to quicksave + quickload, otherwise nothing happens when I press "e". If you have an idea for that too, I'm a taker! Thank you for your time ð(And sorry for the bad english, not my native language!) Edited April 30, 2019 by Kracoos
maxarturo
1) In order for the quest markers to point to a custom interior you need to FINALIZE NavMesh in both cells that your door connects, this also applies for followers otherwise they won't be able to follow. 2) Be sure that you have rename the DUPLICATED cell. 3) Also it would be wise to edit your cell an change the location to where you have put your DUPLICATED cell. 4) If you have done everything correctly with your NPC and he is still not talking, then you will need to generate an "SEQ file", this is done in Tes5Edit. Kracoos
Hey! Thanks for the answer. I have done everything you suggest, except the first point. I even created a location that I put right next to the door, in the world outside. Should I do it inside? Do you have a tutorial on hand for "finalize the navmesh in both cells"? I don't know how to do this. Thanks!
maxarturo
Right click the cell in the "Cell View" and "Edit" > change the location. Creating a "load door": https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Bethesda_Tutorial_World_Hookup * After all of this you will have to relink your quest so that its actually pointing to your NPC - target..
