i thought my comp was good but it cant run warzones

Ohh k,

 

here are my laptop stats.

 

hp pavilion dv7 notebook pc

Radeon HD 6770m

windows 7 home version

intel core i7 -2630qm cpu@ 2ghz, 2001mhz, 4cores. 8logical processors

8gig ram

 

Im sure a laptop is not the best thing to play games on.

 

but heres the thing.

 

When i do a clean install of Skyrim. it sets me up at high grafics.

it can still be a bit off sometimes but for the most part it runs ok.

 

Now i have a ton of mods on there. but i stay away from cosmetic treatment (ihad skyrim looking amazing but it was unplayable)

 

instead i focus on only gameplay mods with a few additions. though i do have a few, over 50 mods. including things like Skytest, skyre, asis, A.C.E sleep wait travel etc etc.

 

but we all know that skyrim is dead without WARZONES.

 

i have NEVER been able to get this mod working. or rather. it works fine. until it freezes on me

 

im currently playing on low. getting 25 - 50 ext and 40 - 60 int. but with warzones. as i approach it drops to 20 - 30 then in the thick of it it just.....crashes.

 

the thing it my fps are not unplayable for most of the time in the warzone. it just freezes on me. no crash to desktop. but fraps says my frame rate is 20 - 30 or something close. its not a constant slow down then freeze, its a bash bash bash freeze. with music still playing. controller still rumbling.

 

i have tried tons of these skyrim improving mods. none of them really seem to work though.

 

please can i get some advice

 

and yes i have put warzones down to low and it still aint working out.

 

but low graphics settings, low warzones. and 20-30 fps, then sudden freeze.

must be something other than your hardware, because yours is way better than mine :)

 

have warzones running and sometimes it crashes skyrim, but most of the time its just fps drop.

 

maybe loadorder or some of the gameplay mods you have that add something to the npcs (guards, bandits,... the ones warzones spawn mostly), some new script or new weapons which spawn with those npcs.... I had crashes in the luxury suit because I gave all women there cool new mod-armors. If worn just by my companion these armors worked fine, but 10 together in an interior crashed the game. Maybe its some small bug that accumulates when 20+ npcs spawn with this bug and crashes skyrim, while in a towns or fighting bandits it can be overlooked.
