CTD whenever anything is hit by an attack

Recently my computer was acting slow and had some malware/adware I could not get rid of, but Skyrim still ran fine with the occasional CTD for no reason. I decided to reformat my hard drive and do a fresh install of Windows 7 64bit yesterday. Everything else is fine now except that Skyrim will CTD if anything is hit by an attack. Even on a new file, the game with CTD when Lokir is shot by the imperial archers. I've been trying to many things today and I still have not found a solution.

 

I've tried....

-setting Skyrim to not load any mods

-set graphics as low as possible

-run Skyrim through SKSE

-turning on fxaa

-made sure default audio device is set to 44,100 Hz

-made sure all my drivers were fully up to date

-verifying integrity of game cache

-defragmenting game cache

-clean reinstall of Skyim

-clean reinstall of Skyrim AND Steam.

 

So far, absolutely nothing has worked. Swinging a weapon at nothing is fine, it won't crash. However, if any actor is hit by any attack, the game will CTD. I'm getting pretty disappointed by now, I was really excited to start my first no-magic playthrough, any help would be greatly appreciated!

8gb RAM

AMD Radeon HD 6870 Sapphire

Hitachi 500gb hard drive.
