leron9999
Hello all! I recently wanted to spice up my game by making it more populated and difficult. Unfortunately, I can't get very far with my current mods. I suspect it's because I have mods that edit leveled lists. I'd appreciate it if I could get any help. Here are the mods:Skyrim Scaling StopperMonster WarsSkyTestMorrowloot Here's my load order:Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmOmegared99-Compilation.esmSkyMoMod.esmJSwords.esmClimatesOfTamriel.esmApachiiHair.esmRaceCompatibility.esmSkyrim Scaling Stopper.espMonster Wars.espImproved Combat Sounds v2.1.espRealistic Lighting.espClimatesOfTamriel-Dungeons&Interiors.espSkyrimURWL.espChesko_WearableLantern.espConvenient Horses.espFlashStep.espdD - Enhanced Blood Main.espLanterns on the Roads (50% less lanterns).esplt_camping.espScenicCarriages.espValsCraftingMeltdownAlpha.espAuto Unequip Arrows.espApotheusLightArmor_by_GuitunScarfin.espBattle Armor.espBlack Mage Armor.espCloaks.espDragonbone Weapons.espDr_Bandolier.espDread Huntress Armor.espExtendedVanillaWeapons.espJSwordsDistributionBalancePlugin.espKatanaCrafting.espKnight Of Thorns Armor.espLFArmors.esplordamor.espMalo_Waffen.espmaruMask.espOmegared99-WeaponSets.espOriental Weapon&Armor.espSilverDragonArmor.espWVExpansion.espBandolierForNPCMasterFile.esphothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.espBandolierForNPCsCloaksOfSkyrim.espBandolierForNPCsImmersiveArmorsPatch.espFactionOverhaulV25.espMorrowloot.espAmazingFollowerTweaks.espProper Aiming.espLess Talkative NPCs Release - V1.espMerchants Reply Only With Take A Look.espdD-No Spinning Death Animation.espNPCsMoveatPlayerSpeed.espposesivecorpses.espslowercompanions.espESP.espSkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.espdD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.espTRO_BasicNeeds.espRealistic crime report radius.espDuel - Combat Realism.espThe Dance of Death.espDisableAutoAim.espLocational Damage.espN_43 Hair Pack.espOrientalRace.espAlternate Start - Live Another Life.espSkyrim 8 DeadBody Remover.espSkyrim 1 Day DeadBody Timer.espSkyrim 3 Day Respawn.espSkyrim 3 Day Vendor Respawn.espSkyrim Timescale 12.espWATER.espWATER - Get Wet.espBarenziahQuestMarkers.espdD-SkyrimMonsterMod EBT Patch.espTRO_BasicNeeds_WATERPatch.espPC Exclusive Animation Path.espPC Exclusive Animation Path - Elder Race.espImmersiveArmorsNPCsNoHelmets.espMoreSalt.espPerky.espTheBigBookofAlchemy.esp
leron9999
Ah, I realized this is not the right thread. I'm sorry. I'll move this right away.
David Brasher
In many cases, you can only use one overhaul mod. An overhaul mod is designed to make very extensive changes, and if you use more than one, you will overwrite most of the things you wanted to change, but not all of them, and the game world will be rather odd and erratic. It looks as if you have a great many mods all editing the leveled lists. Here are some of them: Skyrim Scaling Stopper.espCloaks.espJSwordsDistributionBalancePlugin.espOmegared99-WeaponSets.espWVExpansion.esphothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.espMorrowloot.espSkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.espImmersiveArmorsNPCsNoHelmets.esp You did not read and follow the installation instructions of Skyrim Scaling Stopper in the readme file at all. That mod requires a very specific load order depending on which files you use with it. You have Skyrim Scaling Stopper so early in your load order that it is doubtful whether or not it is doing anything that can be noticed in your game. Here is one of the example load orders in the documentation for Skyrim Scaling Stopper: FOR NEW MONSTERS, DRAGONS, SHORT SWORDS, 3RD ERA WEAPONS, JAYSUS SWORDS, WEAPON VARIANT EXPANSION WEAPONS AND SHIELDS, MECR SHIELDS, ARMOR, CLOAKS OF SKYRIM, and WINTER IS COMING CLOAKS (The Recommended Full Installation): (Install these .esp and .esm files in this exact load order): Dawnguard.esm JSwords.esm (V13d) SkyMoMod.esm (V8) WVExpansion.esp (1.2) JSwordsDistributionBalancePlugin.esp MECR_Classic_Nord_Shields.esp (V250) Cloaks.esp Skyrim Scaling Stopper.esp (V 4_X) 1nivWICCloaks.esp Deadly Dragons.esp hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation (V4) SSS Cloaks and Armor Patch.esp SSS Weapons and Shields Patch.esp (V 1_5) SSS Deadly Dragons Patch.esp (Install these files that are not part of the load order): Dawnguard.bsa SkyMoMod.bsa (v8) JSwords.bsa and update meshes/textures MECR Classic Nord Shields meshes and textures Cloaks of Skyrim meshes and textures Skyrim Scaling Stopper.bsa (4_1) WVExpansion.bsa (1.2) Immersive Armors (v4) meshes and textures Deadly Dragons.bsa, Deadly Dragons strings Winter is Coming - Cloaks Meshes and Textures (Remove these files if you have them installed): SkyMoMod_lists.esp ShShortswords.esp Weapons of the Third Era.esp JaySuS Swords Patch.esp WVExpansion.bsl SSS Immersive Armors Patch.esp SSS Cloaks of Skyrim Patch.esp 1nivWICSkyCloaksPatch.esp SSS MECR Classic Nord Shields Patch.esp Many of the files you use are things that can be used with Skyrim Scaling Stopper if the instructions are followed. Many of the things are not compatible though, and would need to be removed or placed early in the load order where they would be overwritten. Alternately, if you knew exactly what a mod was editing and the change was localized and highly directed, then you might be able to load it after Skyrim Scaling Stopper to overwrite one particular part of that overhaul. leron9999
Ahh, I see. I'm beginning to have a better understanding of load orders now. I'll re-order it as needed and sacrifice whatever mods I can salvage. SSS is essential to me though, so I'll definitely follow the read me now. Thanks!
