leotheEliteMajor117
This may or may not be stupid but surely some games let you keep every character progress like perks/skills or inv items but will restart every quest/mission that you've done. Kinda like Borderlands 2, but Fallout way. Is it even possible tho? By scripting? Or is it kept as a hardcoded thing on the game??? I need answers, if this is possible then FNV's mod community is tad bit better than Obsidian/Bethesda's Dev team and they should've hired the ones that made FNV still active today bcause of modding. kylemarshiku
Only once have I seen a mod that saved chosen information between saves. That was the Solid Project, made by a mod author who was pretty adept at scripting. The mod author deleted all of his work. Really unfortunate, awful even. But it tells me that theoretically, a script could be made to save all the data you'd want to keep. Then you start a new game or save, and you could run the script to populate that save with that data. Unfortunately, I don't think you'll have much luck finding someone with that knowledge who is willing to do such an ornate script.
leotheEliteMajor117
If its possible, ill just wait. This mod that came out of my mind is gonna change new vegas. Also solid project had that feature? Didnt know it had since i deleted it long time ago. Going back to topic, if this idea of mine existed, it would change the way new vegas works. I hope someone will be able to make my mod idea, afterall its gonna take like a year to finish it like Project B42, maybe.
