JazeriEbonheart
So the problem is everytime someone turns into werewolf form the game crashes. I thought it might be Diverse Werewolves or More Werewolves, but I disabled the ESPs and started a new game and it still happens so it can't be them. I thought I didn't have any other mods effecting werewolves, but I guess I'm wrong? If anyone has a suggestion, I'd really appreciate it.I uploaded screenshots of my load order to Imgur because of the KB limit.:https://imgur.com/Dg3xasD:https://imgur.com/e2ucA23 Edit: So I basically just went through disabling mods until my game worked. Schlongs of Skyrim.esp is causing it (but for some reason the .esm doesn't mess up the game). If anyone has an idea to make them work together that would be great. OnyxDragon22
I ran into this problem just yesterday. I hadn't messed with my load order or anything... But when I started using my male werewolf character, I crashed just as the transforming animation was ending (the howling). Gonna keep an eye on this post and see if someone comes up with a solution. Actually, I found what's wrong. So I went to the SoS Skyrim Legacy page and found out that their skeleton mesh isn't even made for the regular Skyrim werewolf. It's for another mod's called Mighty Beasts - Werewolf. A mod that was taken down. But fortunately, a fan re-uploaded a copy of that mod, and even made a version for SSE Link: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/8073-mighty-beasts-werewolf/ I personally don't like this mesh, so I just got rid of SoS. Although, if you use the non-nude version it may work, as long as that applies to werewolves as well. Or it may even work if you just delete the SoS werewolf skeleton file. Guess I'll have to re download and cross my fingers then. Thanks for the link!

Thanks for the link!My had been working for awhile too, which is weird. Anyway, it could also be that they have patches for this and other mods (Say Moonlight Tales). But I'm not sure if those are converted to SSE, so if you use any of those patches that could be doing it too. Also, if you don't already, use Loot to sort your load order. That could help too. I just disabled all SOS mods, but that doesn't seem to solve the issue. I've used Loot, but nothing seems to come up (as far as I know how to use it) regarding any werewolves mods. I do have Moonlight Tales installed, but so far that mod isn't the culprit either. I might have an idea, but could be wrong. Maybe there's something on Skyrim's own files that is missing, so I guess going to Steam and verifying installation could solve something. Gonna try that and get back here to let you know. Deleted4070648User
Hello, Mates. It's awkward for me to reply on the post in a year but I'm glad to say that I thank you for all of your efforts. It helped me a lot.First, I had the problem with werewolf mesh on more nasty critters. Meeting Aela at underforge causes me CTD immediately.Second, I found your posts and I installed "Mighty Beasts - werewolf". It prevented me from getting CTD immediately. I made it to see Aela howling on Beast form. But that was not enough. It still CTD right after howling. Finally, I turned off the "more nasty critters" option on Creature Framework at MCM. Now I have no problem with Female form of Werewolf on either NPC or My character!I thank you again for your efforts with this issue!
Quallabarakte
Had the same problem when I either summoned a hentai werewolf or attended the special party at the Companions and they all changed. Added mighty beasts - werewolf and same happened. Saw the last post and went into MCM and under werewolf the options were something black, red, more nasty critters and standard/classic. It was on Black as default so changed it to the standard option and it worked!. Many thanks all, it was killing my progression in some quests.
