humanbean234
Can someone point me towards a tutorial on creating new Book objects in the CS? I'm trying to create a new book, and in trying to select the .nif and Icon for the book, it won't access the files packed in the BSA for the vanilla game. How do I get the CS to do this? Any advice? ihateregisteringeverywhere
You must either unpack the bsa's or simply copy another book and change the name and text. To do that just doubleclick on a book (any book, prefferably a book that looks the way you want it to) and change the form ID, click ok and the CS will then ask you if you want to copy the entry. In case you decide to unpack your BSA files don't forget that you need arround 4 or so gigs of free space and don't forget to put the extracted files into the right dirrectiories (this basicaly means unpacking those dirrectly into the Data folder - not a subfolder) otherwise you'll get an "invalid dirrectory" error in the CS if you attempt to use a model/texture/whatever you unpack in such a faulty way. humanbean234
Got it. Thanks. (Trying to improve an abandoned mod, where the modder put everything in either Folio4 or Octavo2).
