elafrosicky has received a formal warning. This user has now received 1 formal warnings. The warning was given for the following reason:

 

Upload of a mod containing files by another author without the original author’s permission for redistribution on Nexus.

 

Details:

 

 

The user actually has ignored the original mod author’s general prohibition from redistributing their enbseries binary files on Nexus.

 

The original author’s licence.txt, contained in his ENB files: (excerpt):

„…

PUBLISHING BINARY FILES OF ENBSERIES ON NEXUS SITES (TES NEXUS, SKYRIM NEXUS, ETC)

IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. ONLY PRESETS AND SHADERS CAN BE HOSTED THERE. …“

 

The original author’s licence.txt is also contained in the questioned mod/archive.

 

The user’s Credits and distribution permission/Asset use permission:

„You must get permission from me before you are allowed to use any of the assets in this file“

 

The user has not provided the original mod author’s sub licence that allows the user to give permission for further use of the original author’s assets in the file.

 

The original author has not been credited.

 

 

The user was informed about the permission issue by a member of the staff with the opportunity to either provide the original author’s explicit permission or to remove the said binary files within a certain deadline. The user has not bothered to reply or to edit the mod details correspondingly although they were tacitly granted a period of time exceeding the deadline originally set.

 

The mod in question („ENB Boost and Awesome Shader combined in one“) has been removed from our database.

Usage and Accreditation
