SirQuincyPotato
off a whim, i decided to boot up fallout nv after a lengthy break; however, this annoyingly large black bar takes up a good third of the bottom of my screen. no matter how many resolutions i try, all play screens appear with the screen like this. the menus, pause screen, loading screens, are full screen with no bars. this definitely wasn't the case when i last played the game, and no mods have been added or removed since last time it was fine. dubiousintent
See if the suggestions in the "Issue - Playing at greater than 1920x1080 resolution" entry under the 'Solutions to Graphics problems' section of the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" article helps. If not, what is your monitor's native resolution? Are you playing in "full screen" or "fake full screen windowed mode"? -Dubious-
SirQuincyPotato
*edit* i figured it out; my goddamn ENB (Old World) was adding cinematic bars. There's a download on the mod page to get rid of them.. thanks for the help though dubious! I checked the wiki, my FalloutPrefs.ini is already set to the proper parameters. I play at 2560x1440 at full screen. Edited May 13, 2019 by SirQuincyPotato
dubiousintent
Thanks for reporting back with your solution. Hadn't heard about that one before. I'll add it to that same Wiki entry. -Dubious-
