briley
since updating to nexus mod manager 19 and dawngaurd mods that ive tried to download with the manager get to about 80% and then stop. "unable to download" when i click the play button down in the bottom left corner it either does nothing, or starts over again and stops again at about 18%. at first i just messaged who uploaded the mod said i had a problem , but now i realize it is not just one mod. can someone help me? fms1
I'm pretty sure you can still DL those mods manually, and then install into your game with NMM.
SineWaveDrox
I was having this problem for a while as well. I just started downloading everything manually with a download manager (not entirely necessary) and then just add them to NMM.
briley
ok that might work. ill try it. i'm currently downloading manually the skyrim monster mod (skymomod_v9) by dogtown1. file size: 558,330kb(532MB) it's downloading extremely slowly....... estimates about 20 mins... it's only going like 0.5MB/sec.......... woah all the sudden it stopped and i clicked on it and it opened in winrar with another little window that says:there was an unexpected error end of archive.. uh oh.. whats that mean?i messaged dogtown1 and he gave me the same advice "download it manually."ill try downloading it again. if it doesnt work this time ... ill cry because i cant kill the cool monsters..... now im waiting i know as soon as i look away it's gonna fail.... ok now it's almost done with no problems so idk what happened before... weird.. ill click and pray for no errors YAHHOOO!! it appears to have downloaded correctly this time, anyone have any idea what happened the first time?anyways, to install it in game using NMM i just open NMM click the folder on the side that says add mod from file and select the skymomod in winrar ?or do i have to extract it first? briley
thanks a ton for answering you guys. wow you have no idea how frustrating it was not being able to replace the old mods. oh and this has nothing to do with tech support but has anyone made like a minimap type mod for skyrim? i know there was one for one of the previous games. it was literally called the minimap - HUD or something like that. i think it was for oblivion. it would really help sometimes i feel like i have to pull the map screen up like every two seconds
fms1
I think for NMM to uninstall a mod, it has to be installed with NMM. In the future if you have problems DLing a mod from Nexus, check the mirrors tab on that page.

On Skyrim Nexus on any mod page there's a number of tabs (description, files, comments, etc.), not always, but sometimes there's also mirrors tab, it's just links to where you can DL that mod on another site.
