Couchuser
Hey guys! i'm a longtime lurker and pretty new to modding Skyrim. I know how to use loot, xEdit and FNIS, but it seems that i'm not doing everything right, because my game crashes randomly. Doesn't matter if im inside a dungeon or walking around the overworld, sometimes it just seems to crash. If i realod my game, the reason for the ctd seems to be gone, because i can safely travel across the area where i last crashed, however there were incidents, where i had to fasttravel across the whole map and back, just to respawn the area. After that i could continue playing just fine. I think it has something to do with the additional monster mods i have installed, or at least some mod that replaces existing monsters / npcs or adds more to them. Maybe anyone of you can help me understand what's going on here and what i need to know to keep myself from making the same mistake again. My Skse64 is up to date and i double checked every modversion to be compatible with the recent update. My Modwatch:https://modwat.ch/u/Couchuser/plugins My specs:Intel i7 9700k (overclocked to 4.8Ghz)16 GB DDR4 RamGeforce GTX 1080 (also overclocked) Just in case i'll upload my latest papyrus-log, too. Thanks to everyone who's willing to help! :-) Edit: I think i posted this text in the wrong suborum, sorry for that! Please move my post, if it's not the right place for it :-) Edited May 14, 2019 by Couchuser
argininesy
Try turning off the increased/extra spawns in Skyrim Immersive Creatures' MCM. I frequently had random crashes when wandering around near spawn points for animals like wolves or goblins and turning down the extra spawn locations seemed to help a lot. Also if you've removed any mods in the middle of a playthrough you may want to run your save file through a save cleaner like fallrim tools to check for loose scripts.
