Primer

Ok; so I have no skill with the CK. Mostly because it and 3DS Max and other such programs hate me. I installed 3DS Max and it crashed. So, I’m putting forward my grand idea for 2 mods. The first of which is the Archivist Project.

 

 

 

Story

The quest starts with the Courier delivering a letter from a friend (use the corresponding voice over) when you read the letter it will read A* (see extracts) and will send you to your first location.

 

 

The first location will give you the ability to make Rune Graven Bolts and the elemental variants. Enemy is bandits.

 

 

Second location will give you the ability to make Achivalion, and will be the player’s first encounter with the ‘Fallen’.

 

 

The third location will grant the ability to make Rune Graven Bolt (Poison), and Rune Graven Bolt (Capturing). More fallen.

 

 

The forth location will teach how to make Exus Achivalion, and guess what… MORE fallen.

 

 

The Fifth and final location will give you DweXuAvin, Storm Bolts, the achivists staff and robes, and YES more fallen.

 

 

 

 

Items

 

 

Rune Graven Bolt: These bolts are made out of ebony, wood and are engraved with Runic stanza’s (10 bolts; 1 ebony ingot, 1 firewood, 1 glow dust) giving them extra power. (dmg 20 vanilla, 34 SkyRe) [all the runic stanza’s on the bolts should have a glow map]

 

 

Rune Graven Bolt (Fire): These bolts are made out of ebony, wood and are engraved with Runic stanza’s (10 bolts; 1 ebony ingot, 1 firewood, 1 glow dust, 1 fire salt) giving them extra power. (vanilla dmg 20 +20 fire damage -explosive-, SkyRe dmg 34 +20 fire damage -explosive-)

 

 

Rune Graven Bolt (Frost): These bolts are made out of ebony, wood and are engraved with Runic stanza’s (10 bolts; 1 ebony ingot, 1 firewood, 1 glow dust, 1 frost salt) giving them extra power. (vanilla dmg 20 +20 fire damage -explosive-, SkyRe dmg 34 +20 fire damage -explosive-)

 

 

Rune Graven Bolt (Shock): These bolts are made out of ebony, wood and are engraved with Runic stanza’s (10 bolts; 1 ebony ingot, 1 firewood, 1 glow dust, 1 void salt) giving them extra power. (vanilla dmg 20 +20 fire damage -explosive-, SkyRe dmg 34 +20 fire damage -explosive-)

 

 

Rune Graven Bolt (Poison): These bolts are made out of ebony, wood and are engraved with Runic stanza’s (10 bolts; 1 ebony ingot, 1 firewood, 1 glow dust, 1 nightshade) giving them extra power. (vanilla dmg 20 +20 poison damage, SkyRe dmg 34 +20 Poison damage)

 

 

Rune Graven Bolt (Capturing): These bolts are made out of ebony, wood and are engraved with Runic stanza’s (10 bolts; 1 ebony ingot, 1 firewood, 1 glow dust, 1 petty soul gem) giving them extra power. (vanilla dmg 20, SkyRe dmg 34; + target killed with this bolt will have an appropriate filled soul gem in their inventory)

 

 

Achivalion: Achivalion is modeled after the dwarven crossbow, but made of moonstone, a bit lighter and with a little more kick.

 

 

Exus Achivalion: Exus Achivalion is an enhanced version of Achivalion made with some Oricalcum. It has the armor piercing effect of all enhanced crossbows.

 

 

DweXuAvin: DweXuAvin is a master piece. Though unenchanted it grants 50% armor penetration (just like enhanced crossbows), fires and reloads 15% faster, and can still be enchanted. It is very similar you the dwarven crossbow except that it does not have the ‘bow’ parts instead feeding the draw cable along the main body and into itself. Lending a more compact design, it can be made at the sky forge with 2 ebony ingots, one dragon bone, 7 glow dust, and 3 moonstone ingots.

 

 

Storm Bolts: These bolts are like the Rune Engraved Bolts except with a little more kick. The ignore 25% armor and more 50% faster. (dmg 20 vanilla, 34 SkyRe) [all the runic stanza’s on the bolts should have a glow map, and the bolt should be surrounded with the ‘elemental fury’ wind graphic]

 

 

Archivists Staff: The Archivists Staff is an other worldly artifact that lets loose a torrent of power. X amount of fire, frost, and shock damage.

 

 

Archivists Robes: no idea

 

 

 

 

 

Enemy

 

Fallen: The fallen are basically evil hero’s of sovengar. They have plans to take over Tamriel.

My name is… well by the time you get this letter it will no longer be important; just call me the Archivist. I write to you now on the eve of my doom; I ask of you now please retrieve my research note and keep them from the hands of the Fallen. You will find that along with the notes are various proto types and other treasures that will more then compensate you for your trouble.
