Guest deleted2018789
If someone could make a mod that made weapons at least 80% less common (only 20% of their original value), I think it would make people appreciate what they had in their inventory much more. When I see a cowboy repeater on the ground with a dead fiend still clutching it in it's hand, I just look at it, and walk on, knowing that I can find 20 more in the same area. But what if those 20 repeaters didn't exist? I would come to value the carbine I found much more, and with it, become a valuable asset to anyone who walked with me. However, some exceptions should be made. Various powerful factions, like the NCR, BoS, and Caesars Legion should still have fitting weapons, but should also be conserving as many as possible. Not only would this make factions much more deadly and powerful, but for those who can barely afford a 9mm pistol that costs 1000 at 1/4 of it's condition, melee would become a viable alternative. Basically, here's what I'm asking. Those who wield trail carbines would be known like knights. Those who wield assault rifles would be known like kings. Those who wield flamers would be known like saints. And the one who wielded the Cowboy Repeater w/ a custom action would be a god. And what about laser rifles?
