CTD when entering Malden Middle School/Vault 75

Every time I try to enter the building I get CTD, even at new game it still crashes there. I'm not sure if this was caused by a mod conflict or not.

I already run both LOOT and FO4edit yet still crash when entering the school that leads to Vault 75, everywhere else is still fine even vault 88 so I don't know whats going on...

Sure. First you would find out just how many mods you have total. If the total is 100 then you disable the last 50 so that only 50 are active. Disable half the mods. This splits the possibility of where the CTD comes from in half. Go inside the game with only half the mods active, and try to duplicate the problem. If the problem is still there disable half of the remaining active mods. Then repeat the process until there are no mods. If the problem still occurs download a known clean savegame from the nexus. Enable all your mods again, use the clean save to attempt to enter the crash upon load area, that's what it's called. Crash at load. If you can enter the vault with the clean savegame while all your mods are active then you have broken the game at some point, and that is locked inside your savegame. To remediate that you roll back your savegames, keep loading previous savegames until you are at a point where the issue isn't present anymore, and that's where you have to restart to avoid the problem. Alternatively you can use looks menu to save the character's face/body to a external preset file BAK, and then start a new game. Use the preset you made to recreate the character, and then just cheat your way back to where you were. Heck just start over, you don't have to cheat. Sometimes though the game will wrong you, and the only way to remediate that is to cheat so you are made whole again. Further diagnostics are available, but it's not something we can do quickly.

Found the culprit for the CTD, it was the Remington 870 shotgun mod by icodei, apparently its bugged and and still being looked at :sad:. I stopped getting CTD after uninstalling the mod at least.
