Osiris
I played Horizons for a while. I bought it in December and it started to fizzle out for me sometime in March. Like said before, this one especially felt rather unfinished. As for sad and pathetic stories, I had one of my buddies go and die on me (literaly). I knew him as Bigman :bye: ... :rip: ... He ran a guild and me and another guy were 2nd in command. It was fun for a while. Ah well..memories I'm waiting for Everquest II, which looks rather promising. Supposed to have a massive amount of voice-acting for NPCs which i guess is a new concept for MMORPGs. WoW looks interesting also.
Mojlnir
I purchased SWG and made an honest attempt to get into the gameplay, but every time I played it I felt like I was wasting time running around and generally occupied with relatively lame activities. I like the set up of the game and it even looks relatively decent graphics-wise, but I just couldn't do it.I prefer FPS games though, and there is often times not enough fighting going on to hold my interest. I'm sorry but I refuse to sit around for 45 minutes while my guild buffs and waits for everyone to arrive for a timed raid in EQ. That is a complete waste of time, in my opinion.I made a real run on PlanetSide, but even that has left me cold now. Too many people, less than stellar graphics and newly revised game play rules that make it hard to be a lone gun, which I prefer.I've become addicted to Far Cry, which is not a MMORPG, but rather a gorgeous FPS which supports online play of approximately 20 people. Stunning graphics, options to play FFA, TDM or Assult and a wicked physics engine. Not to mention that there is no penalty for exacting revenge on the s***birds who spend their time TKing everyone in sight.
