vortex download instead of nexus mod manager

okay so I just recently start modding and I first download vortex for my mod but i change for nexus mod manager after because i taught it was more simple. I download some mods yesterday and it was fine but now it don't work anymore. When i try to download mods, it instantly download in vortex and i don't know how vortex works. I want to know how can i download mod directly in nexus mod manager instead of vortex.

okay so I was able to activated the mod by downloading it manualy and by adding it from nexus mod manager with the add in the file. If there's a way more easy to just downloading directly from nexus mod to nexus mod manager please let me know.

You would have to go into vortex settings & unassociate nxm url's. I haven't used Vortex yet, so you'd have to google how to do that, but it should be simple.

 

After that, In NMM:

 

1. Open the Nexus Mod Manager Program with administrative permissions (right click “run as administrator”) to open NNM.
2. Click on “Settings” at the top in Nexus Mod Manager
3. In the OS settings tab, check box “Associate with NXM URLs”
4. If “Associate with NXM URLs” is already checked, uncheck it and recheck it
5. Click OK
