VGI
I knew this might happen, and so it has. All I want to do is to combine the workbench repair mod with BA_repair mod. But I am not a mod-maker. Am not a programmer. Am just a gamer. Darn Bethesda for doing this to me again. First time was TES: Oblivion. But if you want something done, you have to do it yourself. So, where do a 0-skill 0-experience guy like me to learn about mod-making? In the game, I have invested much on the Repair skill. But darnit I need two of the same thing (or similar thing) to use my Repair skill? So now I find myself stockpiling weapons and armor of the same kind for repair purposes. Bloody hell. Why not be able to use a workbench to repair stuff, not with caps (like the original WorkBench Repair mod) but with the appropriate junk you find in the game? The author of BA_Repair has a good logic with junk can repair which item/s. But I find the BA_Repair mod to be a tad...too much because, "Damaged your metal weapon? Grab a tin can and repair it!" Its just too easy. So, why not make it a bit more realistic and use a workbench to repair? You are crafting said junk into something that can be used to repair, right? You can't do that with just your bare-hands, or a hammer and a wrench (unless you are that good), right? Perhaps it isn't such a good idea to make a mod. If any modder would like to take a shot at this idea, please do. I am NOT a modder. And I think this is the last time I am buying a Bethesda game, seriously. Not that they make lousy games, its just that I find myself looking for the best mods more than playing the game.
