Why does saving eventually cause crashing while creating .tmp save files

So... I managed to get to level 70 this time (usually starts around level 40-50)... And then the crashing while saving started again. I managed, as always, to get around the problem by using the "new save, kill player, load save, etc" method but again the question "Why does this bloody thing keep happening!?" popped into my head.

So... Why does this bloody thing keep happening!? What's the technical reason for it? Does anyone know? I'm just curious.

How many save files do you have in your saves folder?

I differs... I usually delete older saves now and then so that I keep the latest 50 or so saves, but at times it can be up to 100 or maybe more. Does the amount of saves have anything to do with it?

Happened to me on litterally every save I had until I download SSE Fixes. Give it a try

It could do. What I do is to have a subfolder under the saves folder (I call it Archive) and move most of the save files into that.

Do you have SKSE installed? If so, the problem might be related to the .skse co-save files.

Yup! Using SKSE! But just in case I didn't make it obvious... It's not that big of a deal! The workarounds does work for me and the game is playable! :)

Like I said... I'm just curious about the technical aspects as to why it happens at all to (according to a Google-search) a very large amount of people.

It is still a problem with the co-saves files and I dunno if the SKSE team have fix it or not, but solution will work.
