GerryMartin Posted August 25, 2012 Share Posted August 25, 2012 I've downloaded a few mods for races, armors, and weapons. Bare in mind I'm a newb to skyrim and it's mods. I've only had the game for about a week and started wondering about mods. Anyway, I'm having difficulties understanding what UNP and CBBE models or mods are suppose to be. I see them in a lot of female mods, and when I try to use mods for races, I never see them in the race menu. Can anyone please help me and guide me on what I'm suppose to do to see the races and weapons+armors? Are there things I need to activate mods in the game? I'm just new and don't know where to start and learn these kinds of things. I'm really interested in changing the gameplay to things I would like to see and enjoy more than the plain Skyrim world. (sorry if i sound like bashing the game, it's great and all, but I don't like the dark world theme) Thanks :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
vasthrana Posted August 25, 2012 Share Posted August 25, 2012 UNP and CBBE are body replacers, they are exclusive to female bodies. Obviously armors need to be adjusted to fit these custom bodies, that's why certain armors only fit on certain bodies, or even certain presets of bodies. Your best bet to get started with mods is to download the Nexus Mod Manager from the Nexus site, and download a few mods with the manager, activate them from inside the Mod Manager and experiment from there.
