antstubell
Recently returned to modding after some years away. I modded Oldrim a lot but with SE things are different. I have unpacked Meshes0 and Meshes1 and placed them in the Data folder. In CK I am trying to change a static object's model to a clutter object;s model (make a static potion bottle). When editing the model I navigate to Meshes0/Clutter/Potions/PotionFortifyHealthExtreme.nif click ok and get 'Invalid Directory'. What's changed or what am I doing wrong? agerweb
There is no meshes0 or meshes1 directory, SSE is like oildrim all meshes should be unpacked to the meshes directory.
maxarturo
A simple and fast way to make a mesh static is to: 1) Right click the object in the "Object Window" and edit it, Copy the Model file path. 2) Right click in static section of the "Object Window", in the "Editor ID" and create "NEW". - In the "Static" window that appears, in Model click "Edit". * In the ID give it an id you want. - In the "Model Data" window that will appear click "Edit". - A "Select File" window will appear, paste the Model's file path in the "File Name" and click OPEN. * Very important > In the "Select File" window the "Look in" (folder) should be in "MESHES". Now the mesh you created is a static one. That's it, hope it helps... Edited May 25, 2019 by maxarturo
