Multiple followers mod: stop followers from disappearing and appearing in front of you

Hi,

I have been browsing mods for followers (companions) looking for a mod that will stop followers from disappearing and appearing as I move around or as they move around.

When followers do that it breaks immersion to the point I am thinking on just having a couple of followers so I don't see them performing that silly magic trick of teleportation.

It's like followers, at the slightest urgency of getting close to me but not being able to, they disappear and pop up close to me and it just looks so silly.

 

My guess is that this was implemented by Bethesda to prevent followers from getting stuck and not being able to reach you, so now they just teleport near you in the most unrealistic way I can imagine.

Is there a mod that can stop followers from doing this? I have looked here and have looked through Google but I only get results for when people can't find followers who got lost for whatever reason.
