Nangze
Recently I decided to use an ENB on my SSE, but i cant't seem to make it work. I've set AA and FXAA to 0, tried to refresh my Prefs.ini by deleting it and letting the launcher create a new one, but nothing seems to work. The ENB by itself works but when I put a preset ( PRT ,NAT..) i get stuck with a black screen, and then windows gives me a message saying that the exe is not responding. Blaubeerchen27
Have you followed exactly the instructions given by the person who made the enb preset? Could you possibly share which one you wanted to use?
Nangze
Yes I did all the steps, for PRT preset. I also tried re-engaged end for vanilla preset but the same thing happened. Black screen till I get a message saying, "SKYRIMSE.exe is not responding".
Blaubeerchen27
I didn't mean the preset but the enb name as a whole, since they can function quite differently and require different enb versions (for example, I use "Rudy ENB" withe the Vanilla preset). ENB doesn't do anything visually without a preset so I'm not sure what you mean by "it works without one". Do you mean you can see the options menu but have no visual changes? Nangze
The enb is Photo Realistic Tamriel(PRT) for NAT.
Blaubeerchen27
The enb is Photo Realistic Tamriel(PRT) for NAT.Completely scrap everything enb related from your Skyrim folder, then re-install everything again step by step by re-downloading all necessary files. Do NOT install an ENB via mod manager, do it manually. When downloading the enb itself (should be version 0.381 I think) make sure to ONLY install the 2-3 necessary files the preset installation instruction tells you to use, usually wrapper version.I would even recommend trying another ENB first just to see if maybe the preset itself could be at fault. I can recommend Rudy ENB since I know for sure it works. I personally don't need to set AA and FXAA to 0 either, but that shouldn't be the problem. Tell me what result you get by following these steps.
