Please help: Problems with follower mods

Hi everyone,

For a long time I have been using various follower mods, like unlimited followers, horses for followers, followers show skills and followers wander. After UFO came out, I always wanted to switch from my several mods to this one, because it includes the features I have and adds a lot more stuff which, the more I play, has become more and more essential (like group commands, learn new spells, followers wear what I want them to etc etc). Besides, I'm getting dangerously close to the game's esp limit. Follower mods aren't something you exchange lightly though and I never got UFO up to now because I was worried I may cause irreparable damage to my savegame in the process. Today I finally decided to give it a try.

However, I didn't get far at all. Following the instructions, I loaded my save and dismissed all my followers, one of which is Illia. After dismissing Illia, I can't talk to her anymore. No dialogue box opens, she just says the standard "what do you want" and walks on (the other dismissed followers are fine, as is Illia before I dismiss her). So I haven't even started to uninstall my existing mods and already I run into problems. Secondly, after dismissing everyone, I typed "show playerfollowercount" into console and it shows value = 1.0000. Who is this mysterious extra follower?! I used to have a dog that I left in Breezehome once and, like with Illia now, I was not able to talk with it again, so it has been roaming the house ever since (which I don't mind, as it was kind of annoying as a follower). Anyway, I have no idea if the dog or a totally different reason is responsible for my followercount value not showing 0.

After encountering these two problems I am almost refraining from my UFO plan again. On the other hand I need these extra features so badly! So if anyone has any suggestions that may help me out they are highly appreciated.

Thanks.
