Trouble with (nonexistant) AI

Turned out all I needed to do was mod the pirates' faction's Disposition to itself by 100 (and by a little bit to the Anvil faction so they don't go around murdering those people on their way to my PC), and that did it. Thanks (once again) for the help, Vagrant0.

Myrmaad, thank you too. I don't really care too much about the guards' drinking problem at this point, though. Unless you look closely, it appears as though they're yawning. Perhaps they're just really, really tired. I'll probably pick it up again when the quests are finished.

So, as I continue to work on this mod, if I post any further issues I run into in this thread, might you guys check on it now and then? I'd prefer it over creating new topics in the forum. Hopefully, there won't be any more problems I can't solve on my own, though. I've got the path-grid thing down, player-hating (if you'll excuse the expression), etc.

Oh, and would anyone be interested in play-testing the mod when (and if) I finish it? It should be a kick for anyone who's wanted to become the captain of a ship and a crew of buccaneers--or destroy such.

Okay. As I expected, I have encountered a further problem. However, this one doesn't have much to do with the actual modding process, I don't think.

I used a program called "convim" to turn some pictures into .dds files, the necessary type for Oblivion's Faction Rank Insignias. I reformatted the size to be square in shape, too. In the CS, when I upload the .dds pictures, they display fine in the Rank Insignia box, but they don't appear in the actual game.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
