the_ragnarok702
i was thinking of ways i could make some weapon that would be extremely cheap and then thought...... I put calm humanoid lvl 100-100 for several seconds and a fifty foot radius on my daedric katana. It is perfect because when you hit someone they just put thier weapon away therefore just about making you invincible although you dont do that much damage. Who esle agrees that this may be the best enchantment for a weapon?
m_gobes
I would have to agree that it is a very good weaponas your strength goes up too it would do more damage.
thanateros
That's a good approach however I've found that on fast weapons a simple 1 sec paralyze does the trick. It also leaves more space open for more damaging effects such as abosrb health or damage health to amplify the damage you do.
the_ragnarok702
well i have noticed that ALOT of guys have a resistance to paralyze.
Muzt
One thing that bugs me in Morrowind is that it ain't that hard making really uber-weapons, the game get's kinda dull when everything you meet takes about one or two hits to die! :( But the only real problem with this is the mental battle to stay away from making those hiroshima-classed swords. :whistling: I must say I've never tried making a weapon with Calm Humanoid as enchantment, how much energy/slots does it take up at lvl 100/100?Paralyze is a really good enchantment though, I remember those glass daggers you could find in the game, or was it silver? ^_^
the_ragnarok702
i dont remember how much enchantment room it takes but a weapon that is really uber in damage and makes the game unfair is to enchant a ebony scimitar(because it is the only thing that can hold it) with 100 health absorbtion for 1 sec in a 50 ft radius it makes you invincilbe :D Another way to actualy literally be invincible is to get constant effect chameleon 100%. You need 2 exquisite rings, 1 exquisite amulet, ALOT of money, 3 grand soulgems and summon golden saint spell. If you dont know how to make it with these materials then ask me for instructions because i dont want to write them down and then not have you want them because they are sorta complicated. Malchik
How does that work with someone who has reflect? I think it is very interesting to experiment and see what you can make. As long as you don't then use the uber-weapons in the game (other than to try them out once or twice) I don't see that it shold spoil the game. But Muzt, it has to be said Morrowind is quite easy. It is probably not meant to be regarded as hack and slash because those elements are quickly too easy to be a lot of fun. The best you can do is set the difficulty slider to maximum from the start and not to allow yourself any training. That way you won't be producing the uber-weapons too quickly. Muzt
Been away from Morrowind for a while (due to massive problems with morrowind not wanting to play on my computer anymore), but now I've fixed everything and started a new character. And Malchik, you're right about the diff slider and non-training policy, much more fun playing without maxing everything. Now I just need to have a talk with Creeper and a certain Mudcrab about disrupting global economy (read: murder) ;) Experimention is always fun ^_^ , when you're enchanting, is it possible to increase your Intelligence with potions before so you have a higher probability of fixing really uber-wepons?
mcstreet
this aint no perfect weapon but its a nice glitch...slightly off topic but cool....i have an ebony war axe and i wanted to be invisible on strike so i enchanted it with about 10sec soul trap and then (after soul trap, must be in this order)invisibilty for about 10secs......this had a different affect....instead of wat i should do...it made the soul trap on strike and made (cant remember the pproper name for the spell)enemies retreat!!!for a few secs.....so you could attack with the axe(soul trap is cast)then while they are retreating you can hunt them down with arrows!!then they are so far away that you can keep shooting till they reach you...then just repeat it!!!this works on things like dremora, goldensaints, wingedtwilights and also on humanoids!!! haha!!!
