Problem with Gamebryo Plugin Extensions

Hi,

I've been modding Skyrim (oldrim) happily with Vortex and have been quite impressed with it in general. But today when I logged in I got a notification for a major update to the app, which I then did.

After the update, the Plugins tab completely disappeared. After investigation I found that Tannin has previously advised users with the same issue to go into Extensions and re-enable the Gamebryo Plugin related extensions, then re-loing to Vortex.

My problem is that the Gamebryo Plugin Index Lock extension keeps failing. I would re-enable it as directed, but when I restart Vortex from the prompt the extension fails again.

The app shows the Plugin management extension to enabled already, yet the Plugins tab still does not appear, and I cannot adjust my enabled plugins for the game at all, which is problematic.

I can only assume that the plugin management extension is linked to the plugin index lock extension, and with this failing, plugin management also "fails"?

I noticed that this seems to happen regularly upon an update to the program, though I've not encountered it previously, as I've only recently started using Vortex. Tannin's direction to just re-enable the extension does not seem to want to work in my case, as re-enabling does not "stick" - the extension keep failing.

I should mention that I have Vortex installed on a Window 10 Virtual Machine in Virtualbox running on a Linux Ubuntu host. The setup all worked perfectly before this update...

Please can someone help?

i would roll back to the previous version and use the report faciliity in vortex to report this issue directly to the developers.
