nofo04 Posted October 2, 2008 Share Posted October 2, 2008 Hey guys, I have the Direct 2 Drive version of Oblivion and, to my dismay, I've learned that it doesn't work with certain mods (e.g., Deadly Reflex) because it doesn't support the Oblivion Script Extender. This is rather frustrating as I have a paid version of the game which, I assumed, would support mods as well as someone who bought the game from a store. Is there a way around this issue? If so, I would appreciate it if anyone could point me in the right direction. Thanks!You can use mods, you just can't use OBSE mods or anything which requires re-writing of the .exe to work. This is because the D2D version uses a special .exe in order to make the game work. There is no work around.
