Mods not loading in game (SSE)

Hello, i've just switched from NMM to Vortex. The import was fine and I met no issue I couldn't fix. I uninstalled NMM and now whenever I launch the game from Vortex (with SKES marked as primary), it launches the vanilla version instead. Some mods do load, but only a very few (maybe 8 from the 200 mods I have). For example, I donwloaded Alternate Life and it still gives me the beginning cinematic.

I think I met this problem a while ago while I was still using NMM. I eventually fixed it but I don't remember how. I recently tried to reinstall Skyrim to no avail. I would really appreciate it if someone were to help me deal with this.

I recommend:

1) Watch a video tutorial. Gopher has a good one, and will get you started.

2) Open Vortex and click Purge.

3) Go to your game directory and delete everything that is not game. That includes Data/ Meshes, textures, and scripts.

4) Have Steam Validate your game.

5) Refresh SKSE, executables and scripts. Follow the instructions.

6) Go back to Vortex and click Deploy.

7) Check your Vortex plugins page and make sure everything you expect to be enabled - is.

8 ) For more help here - you have to give more information. Start here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7332636-how-to-post-request-support-for-vortex/
