I just made the move to FNV from FO3. I have the Ultimate Edition Disk. Started playing with FNV about 3 weeks ago. When I first started playing and installing mods there were a few issues with mods but a trip through FNV Edit and problem fixed. Everything suddenly got real buggy on me a week ago. If I selected any mods FNV Edit would not even apply filters. FNV Edit will load everything selected initially but give Access Violation errors and fail to load the filter results. Of course if FNV Edit faults out the game won't run it either. I have sorted load orders. I have selected and deselected MODS. I have created mods in GECK that I know have no conflict and once you load 2 or 3 FNV Edit errors out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled FNV and Steam from disk. I have left Steam in and uninstalled FNV with the system uninstaller then reinstalled with disk. I have left Steam in and uninstalled FNV with Steam then let Steam download it. I have moved the Steam directory to another partition. I have run through the Registry and cleaned anything from Steam or FNV. I have checked ALL the game INI's repeatedly. Archive Invalidation is active in my INI's. FOMM Archive Invalidation is selected. Doesn't matter whether all the DLC's or Packs or loaded with FNV.esm or not. Doesn't matter about load order of any mods FNV Edit and thus FNV fault out or crash regardless. Installed mods manually (my preferred method), Installed mods with FOMM. Installed only FOMODS with FOMM. Installed mods with NMM. Cleaned out Data directory completely before trying each different method. The only esm's that will load or let the game run are the DLC's and Packs. FOMM, FNV Edit, FNV Plugin and GECK are usually my only tools. KISS rule of thumb on the tools. NVSE log has no errors. The FNV Edit Exception Log shows the errors but is Greek to me, it's not showing anything I know how to fix, likely make me pull the rest of my hair out trying. It shows Decompression errors and Invalid Floating Point Operations. There is an error for accessing a virtual address. If anybody wants to see the log I put it up in attachment. I have set and unset the FNV Edit.exe and GECK to be LAA. I am using FNV4GB enabler on the FNV.exe. I have tried with and without LAA on the exe's and no FNV4GB with same result. I have Steam check the cache files and it says there is one bad file and it is downloading it. It says this even if you just checked and supposedly it fixed it. Takes about 2 secs for the file to download through Steam whatever it is. This file I have not been able to identify. I have not uninstalled it yet but the only real system change I made in that time was Visual C++ 2012 updated. I have found nothing yet pointing to it being a issue. I also have the XNLA from MS installed on the system along with MS SDK, Visual Studio Exp 2010 and the Direct X SDK. Basically not looking at what's installed on the system there should be no issue there. The problem has to be game related I believe because there was no issue originally. And yes I turn my anti-virus off. I have pulled all the tricks out of my hat if anybody has any ideas please let me know. Thanks.
