LE Request: Giving the Palomino horse a new and awesome armor through Con

Hello everyone!

 

I'd like to request a mod that alters the palomino horse from Convenient Horses (the white one) to have this armor:

This armor is available here and is a modder resource now. Mitchalek, who made Convenient Horses, already made an addon that adds that armor but for Frost only. I'd like to have that armor available for the palomino horse so my healer follower can use it and this would fit her like a glove.

 

Mitchalek also told me how one could accomplish this and, with his permission, I'll copy what he told me:

 

 

No permission needed as long as CH is not being modified directly. There is a PDF guide in download section of CH that helps modders to create compatibility patches for custom horse skins and saddles to work with armored races so that horse does not turn invisible or saddle/armor disappear when CH change horse race in order to apply armor. The procedure would be similar to make modifications to palomino horse for followers, they would need to ESMify CH via Wrye Smash and use it as parent in their mod, then they can make modifications to ActorBase of palomino horse for followers "CHFollowerHorsePalomino" and replace the default skin or saddle with the custom one. With the PDF guide they should be able to make these new skins and saddles compatible with armored races and have them stick even if player change the horse armor for the follower that is using palomino horse skin. They should work on vanilla version of CH which should then work regardless if one has Dawnguard installed or not.

 

I understand nothing about the Creationt Kit or Wyre Smash and wouldn't know how to even begin to do this myself. My hope is that someone would make that armor available to all follower horses and, if that's not possible, modify the palomino horse so we can have a whiter horse to wear this armor.
