Each time it has happened in different game world locations, and all three in exterior cells. Next you can see a short video of the problem I've captured very recently. Please disregard the warning message about a corrupt save game you can see at the beginning of the video. To start recording with Shadowplay, it's Alt + F9, which is the key that Skyrim SE uses for quickloading quick saves. I never quicksave, that's the reason why the game showed that message (there was no quicksave to load). Please help me solve this issue. Thanks in advance. Jumbotron
Ok, guys. Found the culprit: tempered skins for females. I've gone through the classic method of removing mods, starting from the most recently installed, until I've found the one that was causing this issue, the aforementioned tempered skins for females. Good news is that this mod doesn't have any plugins, so at least my saves are safe, I guess. ;)
wfandrews
Actually you have a better chance of removing a mod mid game if it has an esp than if you remove a mod that installs files directly to your game files in Data. I would check on the mod page of the mod that you uninstalled what files it installed and where it placed them. With many texture mods to completely uninstall them you must remove some files in interface and texture manually. Although I do not know the mod you are referring to it certainly sounds like a texture mod.
Jumbotron
I install all the mods I can with Wrye Bash and uninstall them with it, so no problem in that regard. When I said that I thought my save games would be safe because the mod that was causing the textures issue had no plugins at all what I meant was that AFAIK it is never completely safe to remove a plugin from a playthrough.
