Clex
As the title states I'm curious about whether or not there is another way to use multiple mods that alter leveled lists. Mainly I wanted to know if it's really as simple as making one mod that has them all in it. For instance instead of installing three mods that alter leveled lists individually, wouldn't it be prudent to make a new mod (for entirely personal use) that has all of the items from the other three added all at the same time. I'm not very well versed with actually modding, but I also don't want to screw around with Wrye Bash (which I've heard isn't 100% and doesn't merge all items). Any help to this affect would be greatly appreciated.
David Brasher
This is very solid approach to getting everything you want into the game. It makes things very stable and there is no need to keep on rebuilding a bashed patch or even getting the patch built right in the first place. Unfortunately it is easier said than done. There is currently no program like TES4Gecko for Skyrim, and there is not much other software that can merge mods. So you may get stuck spending many hours manually merging in the CK. (Another approach is building a mastered patch with .esp masters.) But the work is not all that hard, even if it is very long, and once you have your mod built, you can use it forever after. If you were an experienced modder, if the task was not too complex, and if nothing went wrong, you could build a mod like this in 5 labor hours. If conditions were not so optimal, the mod could likely be built in less than 24 labor hours. Edited August 30, 2012 by David Brasher
