SirOshi
Hey, I already posted over in the official discussion thread for this mod, before realizing there was a separate forum for trouble shooting. Sorry for crossposting. Just downloaded the Dragonbone Weapons mod (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1935), and installed it with the Nexus Manager, and for some reason it seems to be incomplete. Right now the textures all seem to be updated, but there is no sign of the Dragonbone Weapons (the main reason I wanted the mod), and only Light Armor seems to have the improved stats (as it stands now the Light Dragonscale Armor has better stats than the Heavy Dragonplate Armor, which makes me think the light armor values were increased but not the heavy armor values) Any ideas what would cause this, or how to fix it? Thanks in advance for any help.
MTichenor
It sounds like you may have a problem with your Load Order. Changes to items are not cumulative: the last mod that changes and item is the one that takes precedence. Try setting the Dragonbone Weapons ESP file at the very bottom of your load order, then check to see if there are problems with armor statistics. The Dragonbone weapon crafting recipes should show up just fine...unless you've got a mod that changes your perks or the crafting system. Also, make sure you've actually got the required Smithing perks...it'd be silly to expect that you can craft them without it. If all else fails, go buy the Dawnguard expansion, since it contains official dragonbone weapons which (in my opinion) look far better. ~IndigoNeko
SirOshi
-I have the smithing perks, otherwise I wouldn't be able to see the original armor. -The Dragonbones Weapon Mod is at the bottom of my load order-I actually only have two mods right now, this, and Winterlude's Arrowsmith, which doesn't seem to be working either (it says it requires a perk to gain the ability to craft the arrows, but I don't see the perk anywhere)-I tried running each one by itself. It doesn't seem to be an issue with having both, no luck there. Edit: I did figure out that apparently the armor values were updated for both heavy and light armor with the mod. The Light just seemed stronger due to my perks, I didn't realize it modified armor values on the craft screen. So that part seems to all be working right, just no new recipes are showing up. Edit2: Tried a couple other mods, anything that is supposed to modify crafting lists or perks seems to not be working. What would cause that? Do those require something more than mods that change appearance or attributes? Edit3: Some more googling got me to a video that demonstrates how to enable data files from the launcher. It works fine now. That's the sort of thing I would have expected NMM to take care of automatically, but I guess not. Thanks anyway.
