Under Cover Mod!

UnderCover MAJOR UPGRADE is my mod, this mod allows you to go undercover when wearing certain armor. Now town guards wont know your not one of them when wearing their armor, bandits wont know your not a bandit when your dressed as one, necromancers wont attack either because they think your just one of them (or if your like me, you literally are one of them ;) )

My mod works when you put on certain armor, like a town guard curiass, a fur armor chest peice (favored by bandits) a necromancers robes or anything at all, the scripting goes into effect and everyone of those in that faction thinks your one of them, actually, the scripting literally makes you one of them. Never again be attacked, make the game more realistic, dwelve deep into the RPG!

I made sure that MAJOR UPGRADE wasn't stopped at guards and necromancers.. i went all the way!

Things included (but not a complete list at all and always being updated) includes

Vampires

Mages Guild

Fighters Guild

Blades

Necromancers - All undead love necro's, so dont worry about them either

All town guards - respective town guard curiass

Mythic Dawn

Dark Brotherhood

Bandits

Marauders

Nobility - all upperclassmen clothes

Beggars

and all that jaz. Go to my mod by either searching Ranokoa, or Undercover MAJOR UPGRADE to get the download, the readme, and what armor does what (Complete list in readme)

DOWNLOAD NOW!

Purpose: Make the game realistic, if i walk into a cop station dressed as a cop, and go into whatever room, i dont expect them to think im a civilian, and neither should the imperial watch!

(Putting on their armor will allow all access to all areas, and access to STEALING IT ALL without it being called stealing.)

A few things come to mind...

First, the inhabitants of a single police station would quite likely know all of the other police there, and would be confused/suspicious of a stranger in cop-clothes wandering in. Especially if he proceeded to steal everything. I imagine that would be doubly true if trying to impersonate a Watchman/Legionaire without being an Imperial or trying to disguise oneself as a beggar. So I'm not sure it's terribly realistic after all for all the factions.

Secondly, how do you disguise yourself as a vampire?

Thirdly, it's not as if nobody aside from bandits wear fur armor, nobody aside from Guild mages wear middle-upper-class robes, nobody aside from marauders wear iron armor, etc... Especially once the Leveled Lists kick in and they all have better equipment than the stuff you're wearing.

...Not that I mind non-realism. I just like being nit-picky. :P

Lol. Theres only a certain amount of realism you can put into a game dude. And yes this mod makes it more realistic, lets just role play here. If you walk into a necro cave, dressed as a necro... they should proly think your a necro, if you are dressed as a mage, even if others dress in those robes when you see robe you think mage, mages are probably going to think that you are also of arcane knowledge. Yes the leveled loot thing goes up, and yes fur isnt bandit only armor, but as well it is the first thing you see em in, and they favor it. Realistically i dont think that bandits took over and oblivion plane and stole the daedric armor, nor do i think it exists... or even glass armor. And im sure glass armor would actually do the opposite of protect you. But also realistically if you look like a bandit, a bandit might think your a bandit. And if you read the readme you will see how i made vampires disguise.

Since you can walk in and steal everything anyways when they are asleep, and the AI is very limited here in this game, this comes as realistic as it can get with this subject. At the time this takes place, new recruits are always coming in and out as more people die. Hell, when you kill one guard another respawns, i can only think in the sake of roleplaying its not him back from the dead but a new recruit.

Marauders generally wear iron for a while, and im not going to script every item on the loot table, just those of which make sense.

There, i foiled your pickyness. BTW if i was a cop and i saw a new guy dressed as a cop... id proly think "oh great, new guy.." not "OMG SOMEONE KILLED A COP AND STOLE HIS CLOTHES".. Im pretty sure the dude who killed the cop and stole the clothes is the one thinking that.

Anyways enjoy!
