doctorhr2 Posted August 29, 2012 Share Posted August 29, 2012 Hello, I'm just getting into Skyrim modding and I'm hoping some of you kind and knowledgable people can help. I wanted to see how Dawnbreaker was made so I did the BSA-NIF-OBJ conversion for model and textures into 3DS Max. The glow effect seems to be modelled into the sword with two discs which I'm assuming the animated texture is projected onto. I could only find 3 maps in the textures BSA though, diffuse, normal and a glow which didn't work when applied to the model. Does anyone know how the glow textures were put together? I would love to see a tutorial on how this weapon was made. I followed a tutorial on model conversion and Nifskope, which frankly confused the hell out of me!
