Snake932
Hi again guys! i bought the english version of tes4 game of the year edition, from america. i installed it, on both my pc (a pc and a portable pc). but there are some problems. :verymad: :wallbash: :wallbash: -first pc: when i start playng the game, everything is white, except the healt bar, magicka ecc.i can't see nothing, even with low definition. could this be a problem of the graphic card? (if yes, what's the better graphic card for run oblivion as best as possible with mod?) -portable pc: i set the textures and the definition on very low. i start play (everything sucks with low graphic, sorry for the word) but, when i enter in the sewers, an error window appear, it says "OBLIVION STOPPED WORKING" and the pc try to resolve the problem (it suggests me to download a patch) i tryed many times but it always stop in the sewers. is this another problem of the graphic card? or it's something else? that's all. sorry for bothering once again, i'm really in your hands.please answer soon, thanks once again :thanks: :thanks: :thanks: Snake p.s.: i should really change graphic card, any advice is welcome! Ethre
What's the video card on your desktop? Sounds like the issues many people had with their card being not supported (pixel shader issue maybe?). You may be able to use Oldblivion Laptop: What's the system? CPU, RAM, Vid car\ Also, I see you've been here for a bit - were you playing Oblivion before you got GOTY? Because that would be really odd to have problems like this only with GOTY. Regards. Ethre
Blegh. PC>PS3. (mod . . .) Right click on "My Computer" and go to "Properties" Then open "device manager" Expanding "Processor" will give you your CPU informationExpanding "Display adapters" will give you the Video Card The main "Properties" window (first one you opened) should give you the system RAM (memory). Oblivion is a pretty computer intensive game.

Ethre
That was a good card in the day. :) Unfortunately, you're not going to be able to run Oblivion with it. Oldblivion may help though, so until you get a new card I would suggest trying it out. Here's the deal about upgrading: Your 9200 will be a AGP card most likely (could also be PCI, but I am guessing you'll have an AGP slot anyway). The problem is that most modern cards are on the "PCI Express" bus - which is not compatible with AGP. So what that means for you is that you will not be able to go with a top of the line card. However, you should be able to run Oblivion anyway. I would suggest reading around the internet a bit. Personally, I am going to guess that the best performance for the money would be a x1650 Pro (I don't know where you are, or what stores you would order from - I'm just using Newegg because its handy for reference).
