humanbean234
If it's happening while the Bethesda Logo .bik movie is trying to play, there's a chance that that file has gone wonky on you. You might try downloading and installing RADVideo Tools (Bink & Smacker), and test your movie files to see if they're workable. Download here: http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm Failing that, your next option could be to establish a second installation of Oblivion into a new location, compare files against your primary installation, and replace anything that's become corrupted. You'd then be able to delete the second installation after the repairs are done. (This might require a second computer... got a buddy with a laptop who can come over to help you?) EDIT: The "second installation" check would require an external hard-drive or a high-capacity Memory Stick to move files from computer to computer. Make sure you have darned-good Antivirus software running before you do such things... you never know how safe your buddy's computer might be.
