Multiplayer Mode

Hello, I am in need of playing skyrim with my brother in connection two pc lan multiplayer mode. And sorry for if my english is BAD!.

 

P.D: maybe this style of game remember to hunter the demon's forge mode multiplayer! please check & think about my suggestions!. THANKs

There have been several attempts at multiplayer, but nothing viable yet - Yeah, they have a version where 2 characters can wander around on a simplified bare world, but can't do much and there are no NPCs, monsters or even houses yet. As I remember, in the demo they were trying to get the players to walk together, but the timing and positioning was way off.

 

And it's not likely as Skyrim was designed from the beginning as single player only. Changing it will require a complete rewrite of most of the game starting with a completely new game engine that supports multi player (the current Gambyro engine used to make Skyrim does not)

 

Then if somehow someone did manage it, it will have to be a very simplified game as each computer will have to keep track of what the other character (or characters) is doing at all times and sync every action with every other computer being used. Which will eat processing power with current technology. It bogs down now when you have more than 5 or 6 NPCs fighting at the same time. And there would be NO mods as that would be seen as cheating.
