mirecc Posted August 29, 2012 Share Posted August 29, 2012 (edited) Hello I tried to get my blender made sword into skyrim Order of my actions was: 1. exported sword as obj from Blender2. loaded iron sword .nif into Nifscope3. imported my .obj into Nifscope to replace Iron sword NiTriShape4. added BSLightningShaderProperty block and set textures here is pic from NifScope( UV coords are messed up, but that's not the point ) http://techsoft.codyteam.sk/g1.png But when i add new saved .nif into creation kit, it is completly invisible, just former sword's sheat is ok http://techsoft.codyteam.sk/g2.png If someone can tell me where i am doing wrong, i would apprecciate that Thanks Edited August 29, 2012 by mirecc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mirecc Posted August 30, 2012 Author Share Posted August 30, 2012 (edited) Anyone possibly know what can be wrong? i also tried import .3DS mesh from 3DSMax. even normals are ok now in NifScope, but still cant see it in creation kit or ingame :( Edit: ok i checked original longsword nif, and i noticed that my mesh doesnt have tangents and binormals calculated... can it be root of problem?
