Mixing Armor from Various Replacer Mods

EDIT : I have created a guide to mixing and matching BodySlide compatible armors in the next post.

Hello fellow enthusiasts.

I finally came back to Skyrim after many years, and with my return I inevitably returned to nexusmods.

Lets just say NMM was new when I last played a Bethesda game.

I've been modding for several days straight now and I need help with the final task.

I'm trying to take some of the outfits from VOBS and some of the outfits from Remodeled Armors for CCBE HDT BodySlide and apply them to my game.

For instance, I prefer the light armors from Remodeled and the heavy armors from VOBS, but if I install the mod-manager versions together in Vortex I get either VOBS or Remodeled.

What would be the best way to go into one of the mods and separate out the outfits I want so I can apply them over the unwanted outfits from the other?

I reached out to one of the mod authors and they said to build specific outfits from each mod, but I'm new to some of these tools and I'm not sure I understood the full meaning.

I apologize in advance for the inconvenience and offer my thanks to anyone who can help me.

Thank you!

Update: With some help from the community I've managed to work out exactly how to do this. With my search terms I didn't turn up a guide on exactly how, but with some wonderful help from @RenaPG and a bit of trial and error, I managed to figure it out. I'll leave a general workflow here for anyone else who needs help with this:
As far as I know this only works for BodySlide armors and BodySlide converted armors, because you have to be able to load them in BodySlide.

This guide is under the assumption you've already downloaded, installed, and converted the armor packs you want to mix and match outfits from.

Step 1: Open BodySlide from inside the CalienteTools folder in Skyrim/Data/

Step 1a: Select the body from the main drop down you're using and create your bodyslide adjustments. Save this as a custom preset.

Step 2: Open the group manager and create a new group .xml file. You do this by clicking "Save As" and setting a name for your custom .xml file.

Step 3: Close and reopen group manager and load your new empty .xml file. I've found occasionally it doesn't load the new xml if you only do Step 2.

Step 4: Create one or more groups on the left side to neatly organize the outfits you want. Don't forget to add a custom "body" group with the body you're using as a template.

IMPORTANT: Make sure your custom groups don't share a generic name with the default groups for each mod.
For example, if you're selecting armors from "CT77 - Armor", name the group "Custom CT77 - Armor" so you can tell it apart later.

Step 5: With a group selected on the left side, click the outfits you want on the right hand side and hit "add".

Step 6: Once you have all of your armors selected from each mod, save the .xml file by clicking "save".

Step 7: Close the Group Manager, and on the upper right of BodySlide under the "Groups" dropdown click "Refresh Groups"

Step 8: Under the Groups drop-down select the custom groups you filled earlier.

Step 9: Once you've selected all the custom groups, on the bottom left click "Batch Build". Follow any prompts that appear to select priorities in case of conflicting armor.

When it finishes building your outfits should be correctly loaded into the Skyrim files and you can play the game with your mix & matched outfits!
Good luck, and if you have any issues I'll try to help.
