Mount Archon seems to have broken my oblivion :(

Ok, so I run a pretty hefty mod list, and it works remarkably well. The problem is I just installed Mount Archon today, to test it out and see it if was for me. It looks fun, but I want to play with some other mods I installed first, before delving into this ones story.

The problem is I can't get rid of it.

So I installed manually, which seemed fine given it's just an esp file with a bunch of textures/meshes etc. and when I turn off the esp file, the new character still starts in the anvil house, and i can't pass the invisible wall. If I ghost, or delete the esp file, the game just CTD's on launch.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this. I hope to god there is a work around that doesn't involve a fresh install, because i have almost 500 mods running (one REALLY big merged esp file full of clothes, armor, houses etc.)

Advice would be much appreciated, going to keep trying to fix it in the mean time.

FIXED

Ok, So this was a rookie mistake, it's late and i'm tired.

Naturally following the law of sod, the moment I ask for help, I realise what the problem was. I'll post the solution incase anyone else happens to have a moment of stupidity like this and needs a swift kick in the backside.

Basically, the Mount Archon file was loading before my bash patch. Having rebuilt the bash after installing this mod (like all good modders should imo) the bash apparently loaded something (no idea what...) that meant I'd always start in the anvil house even if the esp was inactive. What I didn't notice was, while the esp was disabled, the bash was still enabled and running. However with the esp ghosted, the bash turned off.

Simple solution.

Ghost the esp and REBUILD YOUR BASH!

I blame late night and lack of caffine... if you're also having this issue. whats your excuse?
