Armor invisible in 1st person only...totally stumped.

Really stumped and would really appreciate any help on this. I created a custom armor set, everything groovy in third person but I can't get ANY mesh to work in 1st person. Forearms are invisible...creepy floating hands. I'm sure it must be something simple but as I said I'm stumped. I was going to launch the armor on the 1st (tomorrow) but this is throwing me. Are the Nifskope setups different between 1st and 3rd person .nif's that I'm just not seeing? Any help would be REALLY appreciated, thanks.

I'm almost positive it's a problem with my Nifskope setup since I can switch to other 1st person files and works. Anything I setup however is invisible, even though my process is exactly the same as for the 3rd person. I'm using partition 32 (body) for the armor, exactly like most of the vanilla files I've looked at. I've tried using the 1st person skeleton instead of the main when setting up the skin and still nothing. One difference I've noticed in my files is the NilNode (scene root) instead of it named for the mesh, I changed this and still no luck though.

Also I've tried exporting a file I know works (vanilla 1st person) from Max, adjusted with Nifskope (BSdismember partition=32, vertex color=yes, shader hooked up etc.) and the body armor is still invisible in 1st person. So leads me to believe it's some small setting I'm missing in Nifskope but everything I've been able to dig up says it should be the same setup as 3rd person. I'm not finding anyone else with similar problems with only the 1st person mesh not showing up so I really need someone to clue me in to what I'm doing wrong.

I've got one day to figure this last little piece of the puzzle out after spending a zillion hours on the armor so even a hint or a link to a relevant tutorial would be awesome. Thanks all.

Hehe...figured it out! For anyone else running into this here's the answer: scaling models (0 & 1) are REQUIRED for 1st person, at least if your main mesh has 0 & 1 (scaling) files. I stupidly thought I could get away with only one mesh for the 1st person *DUHOY!*. Anyway live and learn, thanks me for all the help and I'll definitely credit you when I release my armor tomorrow.

Indeed, Myself has helped me many times when posting in the Skyrim Mod Authors forum. Myself is in fact the most helpful person around. You should give [Your]self a Kudo!
