the_ragnarok702 Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 i have been wanting a stronghold for some time now and i have discovered that elvani is the coolest. But my charater is not magic based at all. So will the quests be more difficult for me? :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help:
wesaynothin Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 None of the quests are particularly magic-based. It's like Redoran, but you'll need a levitation amulet. And that's about it.
the_ragnarok702 Posted April 13, 2004 Author Posted April 13, 2004 thanks i think i will join house telvani!! :D :D :D
m_gobes Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 yeah join based on what you want the final product to be ( cause there's always purchased training if you need to gain levels in certain houses)
mcstreet Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 definately join that house...the stronghold is great and there are quite a few great artifacts(magic items)...you'll eventually get the amulet of levitation but until you do just use potions or enchant a glove or something with very low levitate...also you'll end up with dwemmer robots as guards...pretty cool stuff...go for it!!!!
the_ragnarok702 Posted April 14, 2004 Author Posted April 14, 2004 now that you guys have helpfully told me about the house; could you give me some links for some good telvani stronghold add-on mods?
Malchik Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 The amulet of levitation is the reward for a miscellaneous quest you can get at the beginning of the game provided you have a couple of rising force potions. I usually go straight there while low level, before the monsters have appeared, do that quest and get the Chronicles of Nchuleft from the ruin. The amulet is useful until you can enchant your own items later when you have more money. Also IIRC anyone can get the Dwemer Animunculus spell by finding the right book. My view - try playing all three houses, each has a few interesting quests.
