Minameisearl
listen, i have added servant of the dawn to my mods list, and have taken it off, but my character is still saying stuff like "die unbeliever!" and stuff like that, which i dont like. actually, if it wasnt for the voice files i would have it installed, its a great modi have snooped around, and found that all my voice files (in oblivion/data/sound/voices etc etc) are still there, but my character is still making those sounds! im not even in the mythic dawn anymore! :wallbash: plz plz someone help, its been bugging me so much :thanks:
Deleted269910User
You might wanna try deleting the voices folder entirely or if you know which voices the mod replaced, simply delete those. That way oblivion should extract the default ones back from the BSA files and you'd get rid of the 'annoying ones'. edit;Just came to my mind a bit later, if you're using other mods that add voice files or mods that are voiced, your best option is to check what voice files the 'servant of the dawn' added and then delete them, unless you want all your other voiced mods to be screwed over. Do excuse me coz' I'm tired. ~Elraine
Minameisearl
well its not that the servant of the dawn added voice files, but more applied them to me nowyou remember that first day like "wow imma play TES4 for teh first tiem im a nuuube11!" and you fight the mythic dawn? when the mythic dawn people use a power attack they say things like "die unbeliever" and stuff like that, well now im saying that like i said before, i looked at what voice files servant of the dawn added and deleted them, but it didnt seem to help... thanks for the suggestions tho Elraine
Deleted269910User
Ahh, it was just that you said 'all the voice files were there' part that got me confused, gonna think of something else. edit; I can't think of any feasable solution than do a clean install while backing up all the mods you already have. The thing is that I believe it modified the generic_hit and generic_powerattack voice files.(Found in "data\sound\Voice\Oblivion.esm\High Elf\" for example.) However, I'm assuming you deleted those and that leads me to believing that when you installed the mod, it actually changed the voice files in the original BSA files also, which results to the only option being a reinstall.
