Mods for SkyrimSE not working

I installed a couple of mods in skyrimSE (immersive armours, Spell research etc.) Vortex says they're all installed and enabled. I've deployed them and yet they're still not working in game. To add context, I had just followed another forum suggesting I uninstall and redownload skyrimSE on steam as a fix to a problem where skyrimSE randomly stopped loading up. Upon doing so skyrimSE now works but none of the mods i reinstalled do. Any help is appreciated. Also, I have skse64 installed, so that isn't the issue.

Are you launching Skyrim SE by invoking skse64_loader.exe? Try it directly from the game directory; Vortex does not need to be running.

 

And you should never need to reinstall Skyrim SE... Clean up your game directory and Steam Validate is just as good.

Thanks for the help I cleared the directory and Validated and it started working.
