Hello all, I was wondering how to reset the bridge to rivet city to it's original state using a console command or mod. I'm making a machinima and need it to be withdrawed. I saw a mod to set it to open automatically but I need it drawn in. Any help is great, thanks!

Hi, Next to where the RC guard stands on the ships side, you will see a switch box. Once the quest triggers this switch, it is left in the extended For. Running Remastered retracts the bridge after leaving the area.

To make a mod to do precisely what you ask, you will need to Duplicate and move that switch box to an area on the landfall side of the bridge. Either switch box will operate the bridge. OR you can make an inventory item added to the player to open or close any gates if you wish.

Else , Add a trigger set next to the water beggar so not to interfere with the games NC activities and quest strings By use of a custom made script that requires the waters of life to be completed before it works or you will have problems.

There is auto gates too, but that's built into our mod with a twist, rewritten.

Many ways to do it.

Have fun.

I have no modding experience yet and am learning so I'll stay away from that for now. I don't see this switch box though, where exactly is it. I see a sort of switch above the guards head but no box. I installed Fallout Remastered and fast travelled to and from but it didn't change the bridge...

Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply.

There is a good possibility, you may see it on the left side of the screen if you watch the video we have on our link there. It's shoulder height. If not? then I will upload a screen shot of it.

Right when he walks out there looks like there is something in between the two panels on the left. Is that it?

I've reinstalled Fallout Remastered and everything but nothing appears there.

Yes, that's Correct. If you do not see the electrical box, then you have a mod interfering with the RC section or an overlay taking place.

The stage at which you are in the game may also effect your not seeing it there, right on the corner. Once that bridge is opened. and the waters of life are completed. that box is definitely there.

I will start a new Game tonight, later to see just how far you need to progress before it appears. but, that's where the box is supposed to be and it is in the base files too.

Alright thanks, I'm trying to complete it with commands but I'm having issue adding quests. If you also have a save with the complete main story that would be great. I only completed it on xbox and as I said have been focusing on machinima with this version.
